In responding to shifting contexts, needs and expectations of their clients, our client (a large Management Consulting Company) had embarked on a journey to redefine a five year business strategy.
IlluminX was engaged to design and facilitate a 6 month engagement and design process to set new priorities, metrics and ways of working across a large and diverse workforce of over 400 people across Australia.
The strategy design approach was built to maximise participation and collaboration across the organisation as well as a diverse network of clients, partners and suppliers.
The design process involved in-depth research and analysis to understand shifting contexts. Using a range of analysis tools and methods, we were able to uncover deep insights into the inherent values, motivations, interests and challenges from this research. These insights were used to quantify and qualify key priorities of customers, workforces and partners. This revealed further insights into the shared values, motivations and priorities which were used to inform a directional pathway for the strategy.
As part of this design process, we facilitated a series of design events that brought executive leaders and decision makers together to learn about the synergies, alignment and themes emerging from the research and make big decisions around goals, objectives and key results.
We supported our client to create a Strategy that articulated priorities for the next five years as well as a digital platform to monitor, track and evaluate impacts on a live basis.
In addition this work, we helped our client to grow internal capabilities of their people and teams, leaving them feeling confident and equipped to lead future strategy design processes.
IlluminX was the first organisation I turned to when I needed support in bringing together a range of people with a range of responsibilities and from all levels. I needed IlluminX to bring together the different views, voices and beliefs to build a coherent strategy that resonated with both our customers and our workforces. IlluminX did this with great professionalism, energy and curiosity by staging a number of different facilitation events both online and in person, catering to the different audiences to draw out the best insights. IlluminX maintained the energy of our participants and this resulted in over 400 individual engagements and contributions to the development of a strategy document that is easy to articulate and has buy in. Their innovative approach for the in person strategy session that was built over two days, was designed in such a way to get the best energy and creativity out of the participants and that has really come through in the final work presented back to me.
